Binance has unveiled its latest project, “Moonbix,” a play-to-earn (P2E) game set to be released on Telegram’s Mini App platform. Players will be able to immerse themselves in a crypto-themed galaxy, collecting valuable items and competing for top scores.
In teaser videos shared on X, participants can be seen navigating a spaceship equipped with a claw-like tool to gather yellow stones and gifts scattered throughout the galaxy. These items hold significant in-game value, with players able to climb the leaderboard and earn crypto rewards based on their performance.
Despite the early leak of the game, Binance reassured users that the final version is still in the works to ensure a seamless and enjoyable gaming experience upon its official launch. The exchange expressed gratitude for users’ patience and promised to announce the official release date soon.
In light of the leak, Binance warned users to remain vigilant against impersonation accounts and advised them to rely on official channels for updates. The Terms and Conditions for the Moonbix game on Telegram Mini App have already been released by Binance.
Telegram Mini Apps (TMAs) have gained immense popularity since their introduction in 2023, with half of Telegram’s 950 million users engaging with these web-based applications monthly. Notable apps like Hamster Kombat have played a significant role in this success, with the latter amassing over 300 million users since its launch earlier this year.
The integration of TMAs with The Open Network (TON), a leading blockchain platform, has further fueled the adoption of cryptocurrencies. The success of Moonbix and other crypto-themed games on Telegram’s Mini App platform is a testament to the growing interest in blockchain technology and digital assets among users worldwide.
