The Shiba Inu ecosystem team has recently announced the launch of the 15-Day Shiba Eternity Tournaments, where participants have the opportunity to increase their ratings and win exciting rewards such as NFTs and other tokens. Lucie, Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, shared this exciting news on X, highlighting the competitive nature of the 15-Day Web3 Tournaments.
The tournaments bring together Shiba Eternity players in a battle for the top spot. Every 15 days, the competition resets, allowing players to compete, climb the ranks, and earn rewards. It’s not just a casual card game; it’s a strategic gameplay experience where participants can showcase their skills and earn valuable prizes.
During the tournaments, players can enhance their ratings through strategic gameplay to unlock rewards like NFTs, tokens, and in-game assets. The competition resets every 15 days, presenting players with new opportunities to improve their rankings. Winning matches allows participants to advance through divisions and belts, ultimately determining the rewards they will receive at the end of the tournament.
However, players must be prepared for challenges, as their ratings may drop if they suffer defeats during the tournament. The team has implemented a new rule where a -1,000-point deduction is applied to all players at the start of each competition, leveling the playing field. This rule does not apply to participants of the inaugural ranked tournaments but will be enforced in future editions.
The previous tournament saw five winners emerge, including Shanks#9782, ThorBVW#367, Vatoshi#3862, Jay#4247, and Ozymandias#9909. The next tournament round is currently underway and is set to conclude on September 20. Lucie also announced enhancements to the gaming experience, introducing new leaderboards and reward systems to further engage participants.
The beta testing phase for Shiba Eternity’s Web3 version is ongoing, with access extended to Shiboshi, SHEboshi, and Shiba Eternity Lore Collection NFT holders. To participate in the closed beta testing, players must have their LEASH tokens staked on ShibaSwap or own one of the designated Shiba Inu-related NFTs. While there is no official launch date for the open beta, it is expected to provide access to all interested players, regardless of their ownership of LEASH tokens or NFTs.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Shiba Eternity Tournaments and get ready to showcase your gaming skills to win exciting rewards in the competitive world of Shiba Inu.
