Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson has unveiled plans to participate in a series of high-level political engagements focused on advancing the conversation surrounding cryptocurrency regulation and policy.
During a recent address, Hoskinson underscored the significance of interacting with legislators and government officials to influence the direction of the crypto industry in the United States.
Hoskinson disclosed that Cardano will be dispatching a 10-member delegation to the upcoming presidential inauguration. “They will be afforded the opportunity to engage with the cabinet,” Hoskinson revealed, highlighting that key members of his team, including Joel (Chief Legal Officer), Cynthia (Policy Lead), and JJ (Chief of Staff), will be in attendance.
Looking beyond the inauguration, Hoskinson detailed plans to institute a crypto hearing on the Senate side, an endeavor aimed at fostering discussions with lawmakers and exploring potential legal frameworks that could impact the cryptocurrency sector.
In addition, Hoskinson mentioned forthcoming meetings with notable personalities such as David Sacks, a prominent tech entrepreneur and investor, and Bo Hines, a former congressional candidate.
